Dr. Castillo is a dedicated Market Support Veterinarian who supports The Old 41 Team, offering invaluable support and expertise to our clients. With a strong background in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, and a variety of specialized skills, Dr. Castillo’s extensive education and professional experience make him a trusted resource in animal care. His training includes a Doctor of Veterinary Science from the Agricultural University of Havana, Cuba, and various technical certifications, showcasing his deep understanding of veterinary practices, animal nutrition, and medical procedures. He has worked in research, academia, and clinical settings, contributing to numerous international veterinary publications and projects.
Dr. Castillo is known for his friendly, approachable nature and his team-oriented attitude. He brings a wealth of experience from previous roles as an ICU Veterinarian Technician, Emergency Veterinarian Technician, and General Practitioner, having worked in both private practice and emergency care in Florida. His ability to collaborate seamlessly with our team, along with his professional demeanor, enhances our ability to deliver top-tier care and service to our clients. Dr. Castillo’s commitment to excellence and his passion for animal welfare make him a cherished partner in The Old 41 Team’s mission to provide the best possible veterinary care.
William Pena is an engaging, forward-thinking, bilingual entrepreneurial leader with 15+ years of success developing high-performing teams to drive business success. William is accomplished in working with organizational leaders to establish goals and devise strategies to advance growth. He is a proactive and hardworking individual focused on continuous operational improvements. He graduated from Veterinary School in 2011 and enjoys cooking and offshore fishing.
